The National Museum of Kikinda was founded on November 7, 1946. It is located in the building of the former Magistrate of the Velikokikind district (Mansion). The museum includes six departments: archaeological, ethnological, historical, naturalistic, artistic and pedagogical departments. The activity is carried out on the territory of the municipalities of Kikinda, Čoka and Ada.
Since 2006, the museum has kept the original remains of one of the best-preserved mammoth skeletons in Europe.
