The most impressive and attractive exhibit in the museum is the original remains of the Kikinda mammoth - Kika – accompanied by a film and life-size replica. The Kikinda mammoth was found in 1996 in the clay pit of “Toza Marković” factory. The experts from Natural History Museum established that it belonged to the Mammuthus Trogontherii or the steppe mammoth species and that it was around half a million years old.
